The Horde is treacherous and has a spy within the Forest. Will Johnis be able to infiltrate the enemy and return alive with his mother? Will he have to betray the ones he loves in order to achieve his goal? Dekker ratchets up the suspense, delivering a full-force clash between good and evil. A tornado of action and stratagem, Infidel will leave you knowing for certain you are not in Kansas anymore. And don't forget while you're in the whirlwind to think with your heart. As was true in the Circle Trilogy, these books end with the reader begging for more. Unfortunately, we have to wait until May for Renegade, the next installment. I personally hope The Lost Books are not the end of the Forest World. Perhaps instead of just filling in the gaps between Black and Red, Dekker will yet show us what happens after White in a new series featuring this fantastic alternate universe. We can only dream… |
