Double Take is a wonderful debut novel by Jenness Walker with a creative plot.
In Double Take, Cole Leighton boards a bus with the latest best selling novel in his hands. Imagine his surprise when he discovers Kenzie Jacobs the model for the book cover boarding the bus with him. Even more surprising is when Kenzie is kidnapped from the bus in a scene eerily similar to the book.
The similarities don’t stop there. Fearing for her life, Cole reads on in the book and figures out how and where he can rescue Kenzie from her abductor. But even then Kenzie isn’t safe as her abductor continues to reenact the book in Kenzie’s life. Cole makes it his job to protect Kenzie sending the pair on a wild ride of fear and emotions. Double Take is a wonderful debut novel by Jenness Walker with a creative plot. Romance takes center stage in this book but it is accompanied with a strong suspense story, too. Walker created two flawed and imperfect characters struggling with past demons and with finding God’s love and forgiveness. |

This year Susan’s latest series about five adopted siblings who leave law enforcement to form a private investigations firm called the Justice Agency will debut with DOUBLE EXPOSURE in June and in November, DEAD WRONG will release. Susan currently lives in Florida, but has had the pleasure of living in nine states.
