Kitty Litter Killer is a fine mystery, and a great story to read if you’re a mother with children at home. As a mother of five, Trish struggles between raising children, placating her often-difficult mother, and finding a satisfying career path. In short, she is a typical woman in today’s world who happens to investigate murders on the side of her already hectic life. But author Candice Miller Speare writes Trish as anything but typical in attitude and spunk. She is a loveable character who you’d want as your best friend and would definitely want on your side if you were ever a murder suspect.
Sadly, Kitty Litter Killer is final book in Speare’s Mayhem in Maryland mystery series. I have so enjoyed these stories, love Trish Cunningham, and I don’t want to see her retire.
