Wendy L Nelson

Wendy Nelson is an author, entrepreneur, and teacher whose writing blends faith, resilience, and real-life experience. She is the creator of the Watch, Lone Sparrow fiction series, beginning with Surviving the Promised Storm, a story that explores courage and spiritual truth in uncertain times.
Wendy is the owner of MediaTek Grafx, a full-service advertising agency she founded in 2001. For over three decades, she worked with businesses, churches, schools, utilities, and nonprofit organizations, while also contributing to counterterrorism efforts. Today, MediaTek Grafx serves as the publishing home for Wendy’s Christian books.
Since 2014, Wendy has authored and published multiple works, including the God Really Loves You™ children’s series, Always Remember God Answers Prayer, The “Daily, But Different” Christian Prayer Journal, and her inspirational non-fiction homesteading book Forest Escape: A Chosen Path. She also co-authored Wandering Through Life: A Hope for Neighbors Christian Gift Book. Her first labor of love remains the Christian website Faithful Watchmen, which she continues to maintain.
Wendy’s teaching experience spans youth groups and technical institutes, where she promoted self-employment and business ethics. Today, she teaches communication skills internationally.
Married to David for 47 years, Wendy lives out a lifelong dream of building a sustainable homestead—a journey that began with constructing a cabin in the forest without water. Today, she and her retired husband are learning to live off the land while enjoying time with their two married sons, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren. Wendy is semi-retired, balancing writing, teaching, and homesteading.
