Mary Ellen Porter’s love of story telling was solidified in fifth grade when she was selected to read her first story to a group of kindergartners. From then on, she knew she would be a writer.
Mary Ellen also enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and with her search dog in training, Tank. She’s an operational member of Chesapeake Search Dogs, a volunteer search and rescue team that helps bring the lost and missing home.
