David M. Humphrey Sr, a native son of Washington, D.C., has been a Bible Teacher and Public Speaker for over 30 years. As an Associate Pastor David taught weekly classes on Spiritual Warfare at his local church, then latter under the banner of his own ministry, ‘The Warrior’s Agenda’ he also taught a weekly TV program of the same name on the local cable channel in Maryland, Bowie 77.
David spent eleven years as a Professional Photographer for the US Department of State in Washington D.C. During his tenure there he photographed Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, several Secy’s of State, including Henry Kissinger, and many world leaders. After eleven years in the federal government, he moved into the private sector managing various departments in several well known law firms and large corporations in the DC area. David retired from the private sector in January 2002 and now spends his time writing.

In 2006, under the Pen name ‘Samishii Suzume…’ (‘The Lonely Sparrow…’) David also published his first book of romantic poetry. He began writing poetry when he was 17 years old mainly for his own enjoyment and as a way to express his inner most feelings. He found that he had a true talent for it. The book, entitled ‘My Secret Heart…’ is a compilation of nearly two hundred of his best works written over a period of 40 years. David continues to quietly teach the very unique Biblical secrets that the Holy Spirit has ministered to him and through him over the years on effective spiritual warfare. David is married, has three grown sons, David Jr, Brian, and Eric. He lives quietly in Texas with his beautiful wife Velma, and is currently working on the sequel to his book ‘Dark Things‘ as well as several other works…
