Q: Let me start with asking you to tell us a little bit about yourself.
A. We are a sisters co-authoring team from Kansas. We write clean, fast-paced novels for a general readership. The first novel we published together was Path of The Jaguar. We were on a trip to the Yucatan and became so impressed with the Mayan ruins that we both planned to write a separate book using that setting. In the end we joined forces and have since written fifty-three co-authored novels.

A. I’m a hobbit. I love nature, but don’t like venturing far from home. I enjoy reading and word games. I collect books, blue and green glass, and llamas. I’m a first-generation Texan married to a sixth-generation Texan, but we recently moved to Oklahoma City for my husband’s career. A. I am a child of God, wife, mother, homeschooler and writer. I grew up in Littleton, Colorado, and our family now lives on land out in the country. My dad was an undercover narcotics agent when he met my mom while she was a secretary at the DA’s office in California. Q: Let me start with asking you to tell us a little bit about yourself.
A. I was born and raised in PA. In my early twenties, I moved to CA, then went on to live in Las Vegas for a number of years where I met my husband. We moved to the mountains of Arizona, adopted our boys, and now we live in the Colorado Mountains close to family.

Q: How long have you been writing and what other careers or jobs have you had?
A. I have been writing off and on since I was seventeen. I wish that I had taken it more seriously back then. As far as other jobs, I’ve had a few including, painter, maintenance man, care giver, cashier, store manager, waiter, service representative…does being a dad count as a job???

A. After I graduated from college, I had a very short, ineffective stint as a teacher; walked out on a job as a salesman for pumps and fluid moving systems; knocked around at a few other, forgettable jobs … and then lied my way into my first newspaper job, covering high school football games for $10 a game. Q: Let me start with asking you to tell us a little bit about yourself.
A. I write clean fiction books, and almost all are Christian Mystery and Cozy Mysteries. I’ve written more than seventy books (and counting) in six series.
I was born and raised in a small town in West Michigan and now live in Florida where shoveling snow is a distant memory. My husband, Mitchell, and I are the proud parents of three grown children.

Q: How did you get your start writing fiction and what genre do you predominantly write in?
A. I started writing because I love stories and wanted to be a part of creating them. I write suspense laced with romance and faith.
Q: What part of a writing career do you find most difficult?
A. The marketing, definitely! The work that must be done to make sure that your books get out in the world is often as consuming as the writing itself, and not nearly as fun.

A. I live in Denver with husband Patrick. As a hybrid author, I write historical suspense under my own name, and contemporary suspense under my alter ego of Leeann Betts.
