There is nothing that can compare to a good medical suspense novel. And, I do not believe, nobody does medical suspense better than Candace Calvert. There is a sniper on the loose. Just the idea of it makes me want to move to another state until he or she is captured. Now both Macy and Fletcher must work together if they are going to bring down this menace. Both of them have issues that are bigger than they are and is going to require God to heal them if they expect to move forward. This book starts out exciting and then Ms. Calvert just notches up the excitement factor. “By Your Side” is a thriller with all kinds of danger that is a lot like a roller coaster with dips and turns and drops that you really don’t see coming. However, it is also a romance that builds as Macy and Fletcher have to learn to trust each other. Candace Calvert knows how to weave a captivating story with wonderful characters that breathe. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.
