Code of Justice starts with incredible action when FBI Agent Heather Sloan is involved in a deadly helicopter crash. Heather survives but her sister doesn’t, whispering a secret to Heather at the last moment. A secret that sparks Heather’s interest, especially when they rule that the crash was no accident.
Heather, though instructed by her supervisor to take time off and heal, joins Deputy Jeremy Latham to investigate the crash. Along the way, Heather and Jeremy develop feelings for each other and learn some valuable personal lessons.
Code of Justice is author Liz Johnson’s third book for the Love Inspired line and I’ve come to associate interesting and unique plots with her writing. Plots that will keep the reader engrossed in the book until the last page. She also always writes a realistic and sweet romance between the two main characters. Code of Justice is no exception to these statements, so if you’re in the mood for a romantic suspense book to keep you reading until the very end, yet lets you savor the romance as it develops, pick up Code of Justice.
