However the gentleman detective set in the 1930?s around a village in England is hardly ever done. Thank God for Julianna Deering and her detective Drew Farthering. His solicitor has been murdered Drew is not sure the police have picked up the right person. “Death By The Book” progresses at a nice, steady pace as Drew sets off to find out who the murderer really is with the help of his friends before the body count rises. “Death By The Book” is a page-turner, action, suspense thriller. Drew and his friends lives are in deadly danger as they try to sort out the lies and deceptions and identify the killer before he kills them. Don’t start this book late at night because it will be very difficult to put it down. I recommend this book highly and am greatly looking forward to the next book in this excellent series.
