If you haven’t read DiAnn’s new release now’s the time to get your hands on a copy and get started. As Lynette Eason says, “DiAnn Mills Never Disappoints.” I must agree. The opening scenes are filled with action which keeps the adrenaline flowing through to the end. Special Agent Leah Riesel and her newly assigned partner Agent Jon Colbert fight for their lives while investigating a murder.
Rattlesnakes aren’t my thing, but the deadly use of their venom being injected into law enforcement officials keeps your feet tucked under you on the couch and your nose in the novel while you bury yourself in this intense read. The questions continue. Where are these snakes coming from and who will be the next victim. Is the Veneno gang behind the killings?
Leah refuses to back down from this dangerous investigation. She must face her fear of snakes as she visits a rattlesnake farm and digs deeper into the murders. About the time you think you’ve got it all figured out, a twist occurs. Just how close will she get to the snakes? You’ll have to read this riveting book to find out.
I love the way the plot thickens while the suspense builds and the romantic attraction between Leah and Jon blossoms. These characters work well together. Congratulations to DiAnn Mills on another successful novel.
