Review – Judgment Day

December 14, 2011 By The Suspense Zone

In Judgment day, Suzanne Kidwell strives to expose the dirty laundry of businessmen, politicians, Drs, and anyone in high places. That might be ok if she checked all of the facts before she announces it on the air. But she tends to not research her stories well and leaves loose ends, causing a lot of problems and heartache for the community. Since she wouldn’t list to reason from her boss, maybe a night in jail would open her eyes and calm her down!

I had a difficult time liking Suzanne. She was just a nosey reporter trying to fly to the top at anyone’s expense. She should have known the anger she generated and the threats that were to come. Suzanne’s character was not likeable to me. She was selfish, not truthful, insensitive, disrespectable, and determined to ruin people regardless of what she had to do. To me she was just plain out irritating and wouldn’t be a reporter I would watch. Although this was a good suspense, it was just missing something to make it a great book. This would be good for anyone who likes Christian suspense. The Christian content was not really strong, but it was there in the characters.

I recommend this book to anyone liking a good historical fiction playing out a story in Bible times.
