Lost Truth

Review – Mission to Protect

May 29, 2018 By The Suspense Zone

From the Back Cover: Enter the world of the Military K-9 Unit When the Red Rose Killer leaves his calling card for Staff Sergeant Felicity Monroe, she knows exactly what that means—she’s on his revenge list. Her boss, Master Sergeant Westley James, and K-9 German shepherd Dakota become her guardians, but they’ll have to act fast to escape the man who wants her dead. My take: This is book one in the Military K-9 Unit, so what a great place to start. This book is full of mystery, suspense, sparks, surprises, romance and more. If you like books to come to a complete ending, you will not be happy with this one, however if you can hang in there for the next book you will love it. This book ties up some loose ends but not all. Staff Sergeant Felicity Monroe loves her job working with the K-9 unit, however her handsome boss, Master Sergeant Westley James, can certainly get on her nerves. When the Red Rose killer makes her a target, Westley must protect her at all cost. I love the sparks that fly between Felicity and Westley, they both have things they need to work though, but their chemistry is great. I look forward to reading more in this series.
