Q: Would you tell us about your current book release Accelerant?
A: Accelerant is the second book in the Abiassa’s Fire series, and it’s an epic fantasy novel that explores themes of self-doubt and family loyalty.

Q: What is the main thing you hope readers remember from Accelerant?
A: It is my hope that the theme of Accelerant, which is self-doubt, will help readers explore their own self-doubts, see how they might be paralyzing their lives, and release them to find hope and healing.

Q: What advice or tips do you have for writers who are just getting started?
A: I think it’s important to know and master the rules of good writing, but I think it’s just as important not to get strangled by those rules.

Q: Would you share with us what you are working on now?
A. Currently, I am working on Fierian, the final book in the Abiassa’s Fire series, as well as preparing for the content edit on my fifteenth full-length suspense title, Crown of Souls, which is the second novel in the Tox Files. I’m also brainstorming the third book in that series at the moment and prepping another speculative fiction series.

Q: When you’re not writing what do you like to do?
A. Four years ago, my family and I started taking tae kwon do lessons, and we are working toward our 2nd degree black belts right now. In addition to that, I love to crochet and color—er, art therapy.
