Review – Miss Aggie’s Gone Missing

At 10:29 A.M. the Cedar Chapel bank was robbed.

At 5:21 that afternoon, Aggie Pennington-Brown was declared missing.

Victoria Storm and her elderly boarders have looked all over town for their elderly friend, but when they can’t find a trace of her anywhere, but they have no choice to believe that the bank robbers made off with her.

Miss Aggie’s friends all beg for Victoria to do something, no one is quite sure what, so Victoria reluctantly starts investigating by tracing Miss Aggie’s usual footsteps. What she discovers astounds her. And as secrets and long lost loves surface, a possibility arises?has one of Miss Aggie’s friends harmed Miss Aggie?

Miss Aggie’s Gone Missing is the first book in the Misadventure of Miss Aggie series. It was fun to get to know the cast of mostly octogenarians. The characters are inquisitive and altogether charming. I enjoyed getting to know Victoria and her elderly friends.

While not as funny as some of the other cozy mysteries I’ve read, Miss Aggie’s Gone Missing isn’t as serious as others. It is a good read for a long lazy Summer afternoon. I didn’t notice much of a faith message, but there is a fledging romance introduced in the story. Pick up your copy of Miss Aggie’s Gone Missing soon.
