Q: How did you get your start writing fiction and what genre do you predominantly write in?
A. Years ago, shortly after my oldest child was born, I saw an advertisement in a magazine about writing children’s fiction. I had always been more focused on math and science and earned a degree in engineering, but that magazine ad got me thinking…and writing. A. I was a high school special education teacher for 27 years, but I’m retired now, writing full time. I have one son and two granddaughters. I’ve been married to my husband for 44 years.
