Q: Let me start with asking you to tell us a little bit about yourself.
A. I love writing and reading, I’m a wife to my husband John, who’s a pastor up here in Alaska and a mom to my two very rambunctious boys. I’m somewhere between and introvert and an extrovert (I call myself a “friend”-trovert) and I love living in Alaska.

Q: How long have you been writing and what other careers or jobs have you had?
A. I’ve been writing for about twelve years. I taught piano lessons for most of my adult life. When I stopped teaching I took a job at a high school as an AVID tutor where I facilitated small of students. I currently write full time.

A: Sure! The Sleuth’s Miscalculation is a romantic mystery

A. I started out as a news correspondent and turned to writing fiction about 20 years ago. My first novel came out in 2004. In 2010, after my husband, Jim, retired, our family migrated from Maine to western Kentucky. We’re now closer to all our children and grandchildren than we were previously, and the climate is a good fit for us.
