Broken Angel’s cast of intriguing characters, combined with Brouwer’s excellent writing and complex plot, make for a suspenseful, page-turning read.

The investigative aspects of this book reminded me of Tim Down’s Bugman books and Brandilyn Collins’ Hidden Faces series.

Preston Barkley is a character that is so compelling and fun to journey along with that you won’t stop reading until the end of the book.
