My thoughts:
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE is the second book in Ms. Barritt’s spin-off series and I would recommend reading On the Lookout first as the plots are very entwined.
I was kept guessing who-dun-it and who was involved until the very end. There were also plenty of twists that I didn’t see coming.
I read ATTEMPT TO LOCATE through in one sitting and can’t wait to read First Degree Murder.
Ms. Barritt is a very prolific author and this book also tied in to her Accidental Detective series, with Detective Jackson coming on the scene to help investigate.
