Ms. Barritt’s mysteries are compelling, can’t-put-down reads filled with old friends from other Lantern Beach books. I have become involved in these characters’ lives and care for them. Not only that, but Ms. Barritt has unexpected twists that the reader never sees coming. Who-dun-it? You might guess. I had a niggling suspicion but it still surprised me.
