Review – Unforeseeable

UNFORESEEABLE is an older book of Ms. Mehl’s, but still a goodie. I had read the first two books in this series (Inescapable and Unbreakable) when they came out, but didn’t remember too much about them. I’m happy to say that UNFORESEEABLE stands alone and you don’t need to read the other books first.

I enjoyed getting to know Callie. Levi was a bit harder to understand. While Callie tried hard to be the perfect Mennonite woman, something was under the surface that made her identifiable to the reader. I think Levi was harder to understand because it was in first person, the entire time.

I have to admit I didn’t have a clue who-dun-it. I couldn’t figure it out. I will also admit that the suspense was keeping me awake at night, so I peeked ahead to see who-dun-it. Of course, I still had to keep reading to find out why… and how Callie’s life would be in danger.

If you enjoy romantic suspense, you will love UNFORESEEABLE. It is a Mennonite book, too, so anyone who likes Bonnet fiction (not specifically Amish) will likely enjoy it too. Recommended.
