Review – Fallen Angel

August 29, 2011 By The Suspense Zone

Major Jeff Struecker and Alton Gansky in their new book, Fallen Angel” Book Three in the Special Ops series published by B&H Publishing Group takes us on a search for a fallen satellite.

Deliberately satellite Angel-12 was damaged to bring it down. Now U.S. Sgt Major Eric Moyer and his Special Ops team are sent to destroy the remains of the satellite and bring back very vital, sensitive information aboard it. There are a few problems. One, there is a Russian splinter group that knows where the satellite will come down and knows that Moyer and team are en route. Angel-12 will be coming down in the wilds of Siberia so the team will be in a foreign country where the U.S. cannot help. Finally there is the Chinese who also want the satellite and its information and were instrumental in bringing ti down. All teams are converging on the same spot for the same reason and only one of them is going to walk away with the prize

Get ready for a nail-biting, page-turning thriller. Sgt. Major Moyer and the team are in deadly danger because the enemy knows they are coming and has made plans to stop them. Major Jeff Struecker and Alton Gansky not only know how Special Ops forces work they know how to craft suspense. So much is going on within the pages of “Fallen Angel” and the characters are so real that you care for all of them, well at least the good guys. There is more to the story that I didn’t mention but you didn’t really expect me to tell you everything did you? Otherwise you might not want to read the book and I wouldn’t want you to pass up an opportunity for a terrific read.

Major Jeff Struecker and Alton Gansky have written a current spy story with an old-time flair. In addition they have brought in romance that is so genuine it makes you wish that all families had it. There are great themes in this book: family, duty, country and how God figures in everything. “Fallen Angel” is a book that you will want to start early otherwise you will be up very late as you will want to finish it. I highly recommend it and am looking forward to the next book in this series.
