My thoughts: AMISH HAVEN is a unique reading experience. True to Love Inspired Suspense formula the attacks start immediately in the first chapter and continue on throughout the book. Reality is suspended as one wonders how the bad guys know things in advance and are always one step ahead of them.
There are several inconsistencies and contradictions and one wonders how a non-Amish lawyer and his divorced wife hope to merge into the Amish world without even knowing the language. AMISH HAVEN very definitely is a suspenseful page-turner that will have you on the edge of your seat at times. The only thing Amish about this is some of the setting and a few secondary characters so those who are not-Amish-fiction-fans should be able to enjoy.
