My take:
This novel is packed with suspense, drama, mystery and romance. Aubrey Madison finds herself as judge in a major trial. When her life is in jeopardy she must rely on the handsome Texas Ranger, Sean McNair, to help her stay alive and maybe solve the mystery about who killed her husband years ago.
I love the connection and sparks between Sean and Aubrey. There are many twists and turns in the novel. I look forward to reading more from the Lone Stare justice series.
