The McKenna family, along with their friends, is one of my favorite set of characters. I just love the way they interact with each other and all of their different personalities. Silenced is mainly about Kayden and Jake, though we also get a little teaser to Reef’s story and see some of the changes in his life.
The mystery in Silenced was good. I was never able to stick with one guess as to the guilty party to the first crime and was somewhat surprised by the reveal. The suspense was great and I had a hard time putting the book down, even when I was really tired. Oh, and I was so happy about something else that took place in this story, but I won’t say what to avoid spoilers. š
Overall, Silenced was a wonderful book with both suspense and romance. I’m eagerly anticipating the next McKenna book and highly recommend this series!
Iām an avid reader who loves books that keep me glued to the page, anticipating what is going to happen next, and suspense books definitely give me that!
