Review – Gone

September 10, 2018 By The Suspense Zone

Back cover:
Agent Undercover…Identity ExposedThe FBI: Special Crimes Unit series continuesFBI agent Sam Sheridan’s mission is to take down a human trafficking ring and save missing teens—until he witnesses a kidnapping. Blowing his cover, Sam rescues Ella McIntire. But she’s not safe yet. While searching for the truth about her cousin’s death, Ella came too close to a dangerous secret. And now only Sam can protect her from the men determined to silence her.

My Take:
This is book two in the FBI: Special Crimes Unit series. You miss a little history of the main characters but it is still considered a stand alone book.

If you like suspense, action, and mystery you will enjoy this book.

I enjoyed getting reacquainted with this crime unit. If you have not read book one, you will not have trouble understanding this one. This books focus is on Sam Sheridan. He is deep undercover, yet when his cover is blown he will stop at nothing to protect Ella.

Ella is just trying to find out the truth about her friends death. Yet when she stumbles into much more can she allow Sam to help her and still keep her distance?
