Review – Mistaken Identity

March 12, 2019 By The Suspense Zone

From the back cover:

THE WRONG TARGET

When Trinity Miller’s attacked by a man who mistakenly believes she’s Mason Gains’s girlfriend, the reclusive prosthetic maker is forced from seclusion to rescue her. And he soon learns someone’s determined to get information on one of his clients—information they’re willing to kill for. Now the former army pilot has to find a way to take down the men on their trail…and make sure Trinity survives. When Trinity arrived at Mason’s isolated home to convince him to help her friend’s son, her plans didn’t include going on the run with him. But Trinity must work with Mason to outwit their pursuers…or risk losing both their lives.

My take:

Mistaken Identity was a surprising read. When I started the book I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did, but as I continued reading the story really picked up. I liked the mistaken identity part of the story — I can totally see why the villains were wrong about who Trinity was in relation to Mason.

The story had a decent amount of suspense, which made the pages easier to fly through and I (of course) loved that. I also liked that even though this is the seventh book in the Mission: Rescue series, you do not need to read them in order…I’ve only read a few of them and it did not affect my enjoyment of the book.

All in all, Mistaken Identity was a good read. I recommend it to fans of romantic suspense.
