My thoughts:
How did I miss this book? I love Ms Warren’s books and heard a interview with her about her new series and she mentioned this novella between books 3 and 4. I, of course, went and bought it. Of course.
At first I wasn’t sure what to think of Haddie and Kade. But since Susan May Warren wrote it, I knew I’d like it – and I did. It was an exciting page turner and I couldn’t put it down. I was at the edge of my seat with the desperate search for Nash’s wife and child and even more so as the situation went from bad to worse. And then from worse to beyond terrible. And from terrible to ….. well, you have to read the book. Will they save Nash’s wife? Will they save themselves?
