He arrives at her office in time to hear gunshots. He discovers a female body and wrestles with the escaping attacker.
Asher is determined to protect Brooke. Their lives are turned upside down as they try to figure out who wants Brooke dead and why. What do the attempts on her life have to do with missing orphans?
The tension builds, and the action escalates in different directions before Eason pulls it all together with a satisfying end. Well done!
