Q: Let me start with asking you to tell us a little bit about yourself.

A:  I live in the south with my husband of 22 years, our daughter who is leaving for college in the fall and our 13 year old son. I love the outdoors, mostly from the view of a porch, trying new things—after my husband does it first and makes sure it’s safe, and thrift shopping.

Q: When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

A. Well, let’s see…I’ve been married for 40 years to the only woman I’ve ever loved. We have 2 grown children, both married, and 3 grandchildren. Way back in high school, I thought I would be writing novels for a living. Life took me in a different direction. I wound up experiencing a call to ministry and wound up becoming a pastor at age 28. I

A:  I’m 59, married 31 years, with 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I live in Colorado, but my job in the drilling industry takes me away for 6 months a year, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. I’ve travelled the world the past 37 years, working in a dozen countries and a large number of the world’s oceans, seas, and gulfs.
