Review – Dead End

Sleeman always does a great job at writing suspenseful, mystery, police type of romance books.
Dead End is book three in the Truth Seekers series, however it is a stand alone novel. A lot of characters in this novel we have meet in Dead Ringer, Dead Silence or her Cold Harbor series, however you do not have to read those to enjoy this book at all, If you have read them you get to reconnect with some old “friends”. Sleeman always does a great job at writing suspenseful, mystery, police type of romance books.
This book will focus on Sierra Byrd. She is a part of the Veritas Center team. Sierra never expected to uncover a family secret. While trying to find her biological father she lands in an unexpected investigation.
FBI agent Reed Rice is shocked to find Sierra in the middle of his investigation. Reed and Sierra must learn to trust each other and learn from each other.
From the unique way they met to all the sparks, mysteries and suspense make this a great novel. I love the series and look forward to reading more in it. I’m hoping the author stays with the Veritas family but also starts a new series around Sierras family. Just saying.
