Review – Dead Heat

I love her action, suspense, friendships and so much more and I always look forward to her next book.
This is book four in the Truth Seekers series, however it is a stand alone novel. A lot of characters in this novel we have meet in Dead Ringer, Dead Silence, Dead End or her Cold Harbor series, however you do not have to read those to enjoy this book at all, If you have read them you get to reconnect with some old “friends”. Sleeman always does a great job at writing suspenseful, mystery, police type of romance books.
I love the way Nick and Piper meet. I love their personalities and sparks. This book is full of mystery, cyber crime, suspense & Romance. I love reconnecting with characters from previous books and look forward to the next book to see where others lead. Each book can be read and enjoyed by itself or you can get involved in the entire Veritas family and read them all.
As always Susan does a tremendous job with another page turner. I love her action, suspense, friendships and so much more and I always look forward to her next book.
