Love the mystery, suspense and surprises found in this book. This is book two in the White Knights series. Even though it is a stand alone book, you miss some of the information on sub characters if you jump right into this one, but you can.
Rick Cannon is a tough former (if there really is such a thing) Marine. He is part of the elite White Knights crew. He likes to keep his personal life to himself and hide any feelings he may have from everyone, even if that mean he does not have many close friends.
Oliva Dobbs is a loving psychologist, even though she has issues with her family she must deal with, she is a great psychologist. When she suddenly becomes a suspect/target to a crime Rick must protect her, interrogate her and try not to fall in love with her.
If you enjoy FBI type suspenseful mysteries with added romance you will love this book. Sleeman is one of my favorite suspense romance writers.
